How to apply for a place for your child to start Year 7 at Chelsea Academy in September 2017

Information on secondary school place allocations is available from your home local authority from Wednesday 1st March 2017. If you receive an offer of a place at Chelsea Academy for your child please make sure that you contact your local authority within 2 weeks to accept or decline the place.
 .
If you do not get an offer of a place at Chelsea Academy and you would like to appeal, you should complete and return our appeal form to the Academy by 17th April 2017. Appeals will be heard by the end of June 2017. If Chelsea Academy was a higher preference than the school your child has been offered, your child’s name will automatically be on our waiting list and you don’t need to do anything more. Over the next few weeks there may be some places available if parents decline offers for Chelsea Academy and these will be offered to those on the waiting list.
 .
Secondary transfer waiting lists are held by local authority school admissions departments. You should contact your local authority for information about your child’s waiting list position, preferably after 20th March 2017.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT HAVE BANDING TESTS FOR STUDENTS APPLYING TO CHELSEA ACADEMY
