We are delighted to announce that Jack, one of our Year 9 students, has been awarded the Des Simmons Award for Guitar.
This award goes to the best young guitarists each year, to help them take the next step in their musical journey. It is named after Des Simmons, who was an exceptional musician as well as an enthusiastic supporter of young musicians. Thanks to the Des Simmons Award Jack has recently been able to purchase his own concert classical guitar.
