Fabulous GCSE Results

After a set of outstanding A level results last week, Chelsea Academy are celebrating a third year of improved GCSE results. Whilst the new GCSE measures mean it is difficult to compare year on year performance the ‘old’ 5A* to C including English and maths measure is the highest since the Academy has opened. Principal, Matthew Williams said: ‘I am immensely proud of all of our Year 11 students and the results that they have achieved are fabulous. The work and effort that they have put in over this year has been brilliant and they have achieved wonderful outcomes. I am delighted the top end results have improved with just under a third of the grades awarded at an A or above. The work that we have been doing for our top end students is demonstrated in these great results. I also want to thank the teachers who have worked tirelessly to ensure that the students gets the best results possible and the parents for all their support. ’.
