Dear Parents and Carers,

The upcoming ethos themes for us all to reflect on and discuss are:

‘Be Creative’
w/b 12/3/18

Jeremiah 10:12-13
But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding. When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

Key Questions:What is awe and wonder? What is truly special about the world we live in? Why is it important to appreciate our world? Is it our duty to help poorer countries? What can I do?

‘Be the Best You Can Be’
w/b 19/3/18

Philippians 4:13
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Key Questions: What is ‘Good Friday’? Why did Jesus endure pain and suffering? What is a sacrifice? How did Jesus’ death and resurrection change the world?

‘A Second Chance’
w/b 26/3/18

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Key Questions: What is faith? What do we believe and why? How can our faith be strengthened or challenged?

Parent Prayer will be held on every penultimate Thursday of each half-term.

I also offer a ‘drop in’ for parents; please feel free to contact me further to arrange this at tim.richards@chelsea-academy.org.

With every blessing,

Tim Richards,
Chaplain
