All students in the Sixth Form have the opportunity to complete the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which is started in the summer term of Year 12 and completed in the first term of Year 13.

The EPQ is a valuable qualification that is very well regarded by universities. Allowing the students to pursue a personal area of interest, the EPQ develops students’ research, time management, organisational and independent learning skills. Each student is assigned a supervisor who regularly meets with the student and monitors their progress, coaching and mentoring them through the qualification.

The EPQ is equivalent to an additional AS level and carries UCAS points.
