On Thursday 15th December students across the years performed amazing pieces in the Christmas Concert, from Year 7 up to Sixth Form. The music was varied from Beethoven, to Silent Night performed by the Academy Vocal Ensemble, a medley of spirituals sung by the whole of Year 7 and the Staff and Community Choirs. There were also fantastic dances from the Year 8 group and GCSE students, and a devised Drama piece by the Drama Club. A packed out Theatre then all joined together for a final rendition of the Slade classic ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’. It was a fabulous performance by everyone and huge thanks to the staff involved, including the instrumental and vocal staff.
