DNA bracelets with Oxford University

A group of scientists from the University of Oxford’s Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics visited Chelsea Academy to run a special workshop on DNA for students from years 7, 8 and 9. Activities included a bitterness taste test to highlight genetic differences among the students, followed by a DNA coding exercise and making bracelets that model DNA that many of them are now proudly wearing to school!
