Dear Parents and Carers,

The upcoming ethos themes for us all to reflect on and discuss are:

‘Spiritual Light’ -House Charities Week
w/b 11/12/ 17

Psalm 27
A psalm of David
The Lord is my light and my salvation—
so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger,
so why should I tremble?

Key Question: What does Christmas mean to me? What brings you ‘light’ in your life?

‘Crown the Year with Goodness’- Epiphany
w/b 1/1/17

Psalm 34:14
Turn away from evil and do good.
Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

Key Question: Why is the start of a new year important? How can it be seen like a gift?

Parent prayer will be held on every penultimate Thursday of each half term.

I also offer a ‘drop in’ for parents; please feel free to contact me further to arrange this at tim.richards@chelsea-academy.org

With every blessing,

Tim Richards,
Chaplain
