Remembrance Service at Dovehouse Green

Remembrance Service at Dovehouse Green

On Thursday 8th November, some of our students visited a Remembrance Service at Dovehouse Green where the students laid 100 crosses to mark 100 years since the end of WW1. The crosses had the names of soldiers from Chelsea who died in the war.

Nina in Year 7 said:
‘I think that this trip was very respectful. This was an amazing opportunity to honour all the soldiers who helped and protected our country. Doing this helped me understand the greatness of what these people did.’

Natalia in Year 10 said:
‘I really enjoyed this opportunity and it was a great experience that allowed us to think about all the people that sacrificed their lives for our future. They really made a difference.’
